Technical Delivery Manager - Data & Analytics

Salary: Up to $150 per hour

We’re looking for an experienced Technical Delivery Manager to lead the delivery of a complex enterprise technology initiative spanning data, analytics, reporting, AI and cloud platforms within a major Queensland government department.

Working closely with senior project leadership, architects, engineers, analysts, vendors and operational teams, you’ll take ownership of the day-to-day coordination of technical workstreams and ensure solutions move successfully from architecture and planning through implementation, testing and operational transition.

This is a hands-on delivery leadership role suited to someone who can comfortably operate between senior stakeholders and highly technical delivery teams.

• Brisbane CBD location: Hybrid
• Up to $150 per hour

What you’ll be doing

• Lead day-to-day technical delivery across multiple workstreams
• Translate architecture and solution designs into executable delivery plans and work packages
• Manage technical schedules, milestones, dependencies, risks and critical-path activities
• Coordinate architects, data engineers, analysts, vendors and operational support teams
• Oversee delivery across data integration, analytics, reporting, AI and cloud services
• Ensure solutions meet agreed architecture, governance, security and quality standards
• Coordinate testing, deployment, release and service transition activities
• Manage external vendors and implementation partners
• Drive operational readiness and ensure solutions are production-ready and supportable
• Provide technical delivery reporting, recommendations and advice to senior stakeholders

What we’re looking for
You’ll bring strong experience delivering complex enterprise technology initiatives, ideally across:

• Data warehousing
• Data lakes / lakehouse architectures
• Business intelligence and reporting
• Data integration and APIs
• Data governance
• AI / advanced analytics
• Enterprise application integration
• Cloud-based data platforms

You’ll also have a strong background across the Microsoft ecosystem, ideally including:

• Microsoft Azure
• Azure Data Services
• Azure DevOps
• Power BI
• Microsoft Entra ID
