Activities:
- Manage and oversee all foundation engineering and geotechnical operations across project sites in Nigeria.
- Lead execution of piling works including bored piles, CFA piles, micro-piles, sheet piling, diaphragm walls, anchoring, and ground improvement activities.
- Ensure proper planning, coordination, and execution of foundation works in line with project specifications, method statements, and construction schedules.
- Supervise mobilization and operation of foundation equipment, rigs, cranes, batching plants, and related heavy machinery.
- Monitor productivity, site progress, quality performance, and operational efficiency of foundation activities.
- Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, clients, consultants, and subcontractors on technical and operational matters.
- Review soil investigation reports, foundation drawings, and technical requirements to ensure proper execution methodology.
- Lead troubleshooting and provide technical solutions for complex geotechnical and foundation challenges on site.
- Ensure implementation of HSE standards and safe working practices during all foundation operations.
- Manage manpower allocation, equipment utilization, and operational resources to achieve project targets.
- Support tendering and preconstruction activities by reviewing technical proposals, methodologies, and operational requirements.
- Prepare operational reports, project updates, resource planning, and performance evaluations.
- Ensure compliance with international quality standards and company procedures throughout project execution.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, or related discipline.
- Minimum of 8–15 years of experience in foundation engineering and construction operations.
- Strong knowledge of piling, diaphragm walls, anchoring systems & ground improvement techniques.
- Experience managing large-scale infrastructure, marine, industrial, or commercial projects.
- Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
- Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
- Familiarity with international construction and HSE standards.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and multicultural environment.
- Previous experience in Africa or remote project locations is an advantage.
- Proficiency in project coordination, operational planning, and reporting.
