# Technical Presales Consultant – Cloud & Infrastructure ## Job Summary We are seeking a hands-on **Technical Presales Consultant** to own cloud and infrastructure solution design end-to-end—from customer discovery through architecture, proposal, and commercial estimation. This is a technical, customer-facing role requiring comfort both in technical environments and boardroom presentations. The consultant will architect solutions, defend them technically, and support them with commercially viable proposals. ## Responsibilities - Design private and hybrid cloud solutions for enterprise and government customers. - Architect solutions across OpenStack, VMware, Kubernetes, storage, backup, and disaster recovery platforms. - Lead responses to Requests for Proposals (RFPs), Requests for Information (RFIs), and Requests for Quotations (RFQs), including compliance matrices, High-Level Designs (HLD), architecture diagrams, and scope documents. - Build Bill of Materials (BOM), licensing structures, Managed Services costing, Total Cost of Ownership (TCO), and Return on Investment (ROI) models. - Conduct discovery workshops, solution presentations, and Proof of Concepts (POCs) directly with enterprise customers. - Coordinate with Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM) and technology partners such as Red Hat, Dell, HPE, Lenovo, Cisco, and NVIDIA on solution design and joint proposals. - Collaborate closely with Sales, Delivery, and Product teams to ensure proposed architectures are deliverable and supportable. ## Qualifications - 3 to 5 years of experience in cloud/infrastructure presales, solution architecture, or a similar customer-facing technical role. - Strong hands-on experience with OpenStack, VMware vSphere/Cloud Director, Kubernetes, and Red Hat technologies. - Working knowledge of compute, storage, and network sizing, along with security architecture fundamentals including Identity and Access Management (IAM), firewall, Web Application Firewall (WAF), Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) protection, and Load Balancing. - Solid technical writing skills and confidence in presenting to senior, technical, and non-technical stakeholders. - Commercial acumen with the ability to defend both the architecture and the financial aspects behind it. - Educational qualification: B.Tech, Bachelor of Engineering (BE), Master of Computer Applications (MCA), or equivalent. ## Preferred Skills - Experience with NVIDIA GPU and Artificial Intelligence (AI) infrastructure sizing. - Exposure to hybrid cloud environments. - Familiarity with Red Hat OpenShift or other enterprise Kubernetes distributions. ## Experience - 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in cloud and infrastructure presales or solution architecture roles. ## Environment - Location: Noida, India. - Work setting: Work from office. - The role involves direct interaction with enterprise customers and coordination with multiple internal and external stakeholders.
