About the Role
ipNX is seeking an experienced Technical Product Manager to oversee the lifecycle of its networking and smart home products, including Wi-Fi access points, mesh systems, routers and connected devices.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full lifecycle of networking and smart home products.
- Coordinate OEMs and engineering partners on firmware releases, security updates and product improvements.
- Oversee product reliability, customer experience and lifecycle governance.
- Manage firmware updates and vulnerability remediation.
- Develop technical specifications, test plans, release notes and incident reports.
- Manage vendor relationships, service-level agreements and escalation processes.
Requirements
- BSc/BEng/BTech in Computer Engineering, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Telecommunications, Computer Science or a related field, with at least a Second Class Upper/Upper Credit.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in networking engineering, technical product management or technical vendor management.
- Practical knowledge of Wi-Fi access points, routers, mesh networking and LAN/WAN.
- Experience in firmware lifecycle management and security updates.
- Experience managing OEMs and outsourced engineering partners.
- Ability to prepare technical documentation and lifecycle reports.
- Must be based in or willing to relocate to Ikeja, Lagos.
Added Advantages
- Knowledge of Linux-based embedded systems, OpenWrt, SNMP and TR-069/TR-369.
- CCNA or equivalent certification.
- Experience in cybersecurity vulnerability management.
