Technical Program Manager - Digital Twin

Summary

Leads global technical program management for PepsiCo’s Digital Twin Supply Chain initiative, overseeing cross-functional delivery of digital applications across manufacturing, warehouses, and yards. Bridges technical and business stakeholders to execute complex programs using Agile/DevSecOps methodologies, ensuring on-time, high-quality delivery of digital transformation solutions.

Overview We are seeking a Senior Manager for the Technical Program Management (TPM) of Digital Twin program in Supply Chain. The TPM for Digital Twin will partner closely with Digital Twin Leadership, Product Owners, Enterprise Architects, Solution Architects, other cross-functional capability teams and external partners to deliver Digital Twin applications through global solutions. The role will be accountable for product delivery (BuildOps) governance and execution oversight throughout the product lifecycle from ideation and discovery through implementation and support. This leader will bring strong delivery mindset and will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to deliver Digital Twin capabilities across PepsiCo facilities globally including but not limited to Manufacturing plants, warehouses, and yards. Responsibilities Lead Global BuildOps (project execution and delivery) with cross-functional mission-based teams across IT/OT, Data & AI, Cybersecurity, Infrastructure, and Sector IT Drive end-to-end technical program management from initial conception, through design and development, to delivery of tested, useable prototypes and final applications Collaborate with cross-functional partners (Product, engineering, business, design, architecture and external partners) to identify scope, constraints, dependencies, risks, and timelines across programs Establish a consistent and scalable delivery methodology with all stakeholders Lead the complex transformation program by guiding partners on PepsiCo-specific tools, frameworks, and processes related to Project Planning and DevSecOps Delivery Proactively identify technical, procedural, legal, logistical, budget, and communications challenges and partner with leads to drive creative solutions to resolve issues and mitigate risks Coordinate communications across internal and external teams, including upwards communication to team leadership Communicate frequently with program leadership to shape and deliver on the product roadmap, and nimbly switch between strategic and tactical initiatives to achieve technical and business objectives within the schedule and budget Create detailed Project Plans through PI Planning sessions and provide day-to-day governance to execute the project based on that plan Partner with strategic vendors and system integrators to deliver against roadmap with measurable milestones, quality standards, and cost discipline Provide timely reporting and necessary escalations to leadership teams and present in regular reporting cadences including BuildOps Reviews, ART syncs and SteerCo meetings Establish guidelines and conduct stage gates to ensure project milestones are exited with acceptable quality standards, applicable security protocols and functional completion of the digital application Compensation & Benefits: The expected compensation range for this position is between $140,100 - $234,850. Location, confirmed job-related skills, experience, and education will be considered in setting actual starting salary. Qualifications Education: Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred in Engineering, Computer Science, IT, Supply Chain, Data/Analytics, or a comparable field. Experience: The ideal Technical Program Manager (TPM) will have 8-10 years of work experience, with 3-5 years of experience as Delivery Lead / Technical Program Manager leading delivery of complex digital transformation projects They will be highly quantitative, have great judgment, able to connect the dots across workstreams, identify critical program dependencies, and have a strong track record of delivery They will have a pragmatic outlook and iterative approach to building technical solutions including ability to simplify and get things done with a demonstrated track record of working effectively with external and internal teams They will dive deep to understand the program including the infrastructure, dataset dependencies for local requirements for feature/application deployments, and integration testing requirements before deployment They will bring exceptional business relationship skills including the ability to discover the true requirements underlying feature requests, recommend alternative technical and business approaches, and lead engineering efforts to meet aggressive timelines with optimal solutions Their strong experience in project delivery using SAFe Agile methodology and familiarity with other delivery models including waterfall is key They will have good understanding of SDLC (Software Development Lifecycle) models and a track record of shipping software efficiently along with the ability to recognize the difference between building software and shipping software They will have strong experience in managing project timelines, budgets and status reports, navigating Change Approval Boards and associated processes. They must be proficient in Azure DevOps (ADO) Boards/Backlogs/Queries along with expertise in entire Microsoft Office 365 suite They have a proven track record of program delivery for large, cross-functional, projects They have deep hands-on technical expertise, and excellent verbal and written communication skills They are familiar with Supply Chain business processes, systems and personas Leadership: Executive influence and ability to align business and technology stakeholders globally. Strong delivery leadership (Product Backlog management, PI Planning, delivery milestones, Stage Gates, Deployment, Hypercare, Reporting & Governance).
