Technical Project Manager - Data Migration Program

Remote (Poland-based) B2B contract role managing a multi-country data migration program: leading day-to-day execution, planning and tracking migrations, owning the backlog, and coordinating vendors, markets, and stakeholders through a legacy DWH to cloud lakehouse transition.

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to oversee a data migration program across multiple countries. The ideal candidate will possess a technical background and have experience managing backlogs and communicating effectively with engineering teams. This is a self-directed role that requires proactive management and strong leadership skills.
Main Responsibilities:
Lead the day-to-day operation of the migration program, ensuring timely execution for each market.
Plan and track migrations while managing vendor relationships and resolving blockers.
Own the backlog and provide status reports to stakeholders.
Serve as the first contact for markets, business owners, and vendors.
Escalate critical issues to the Program Lead as necessary.
Key Requirements:
3+ years of Project Management experience in data platform or data warehouse migration programs (legacy DWH to cloud lakehouse).
Proven experience working with external vendors to manage scope, change requests, and project timelines.
Expertise in multi-country stakeholder management in complex project environments.
Ability to work with data, identifying discrepancies and engaging engineers with relevant questions.
Nice to Have:
Experience in consumer health, pharmaceutical, or FMCG commercial data management.
Exposure to matrixed corporate environments, including budget management and compliance.
