Technical Project Manager
Salary: No contractor fees / two pay runs per week
Contract for 9 months | Newstead | Hybrid working
Lime Recruitment is currently recruiting a Technical Project Manager. In this role, you will lead, manage, and deliver key business systems, processes, and digital initiatives to support the client’s vision as a modern, data-led regulator.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver and manage key IT projects and digital initiatives, ensuring outcomes are achieved on time, on budget, to quality standards, and within agreed scope.
Develop, monitor, and execute comprehensive project plans covering budgets, resource allocation, risk management, and governance.
Prepare clear project status reports, executive briefings, and post-implementation reviews for governance committees and senior leadership.
Investigate and negotiate change proposals with key stakeholders, resolving issues to ensure critical-path progress is maintained.
Establish, manage, and govern vendor contracts for implementation activities as well as ongoing support delivery.
Develop and execute effective stakeholder engagement and communication frameworks across internal and external groups.
About You
Extensive experience managing medium to large, complex IT projects and programs of work.
Proven track record in project delivery with complex intra-program dependencies, scope management, and budget control.
High-level analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving skills with the ability to quickly learn complex subject matter.
Strong written communication capabilities with demonstrated experience drafting high-level documentation, briefings, and status reports.
Exceptional interpersonal, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills to liaise effectively across diverse technical and business teams.
Experience working within government, regulatory, or transport environments is highly desirable.
