Technical Project Manager/Senior System Manager (DB2 & Infrastructure)

Salary: $65,000 – $80,000 per month

Job Duties:

• Lead and manage the implementation of the system at the New Huanggang Control Point.

• Provide management support and technical advice for the planning and implementation of new automated immigration clearance initiatives.

• Plan and manage the adoption of emerging immigration clearance technologies and operational models.

• Oversee the implementation of system infrastructure and related technical components for the system.

• Conduct quality assurance activities and monitor contractor performance to ensure service quality and project deliverables.

• Coordinate with stakeholders, contractors, and internal teams throughout the project lifecycle.

• Perform other duties as assigned to support departmental strategies and business objectives.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.

• At least have 8 years’ experience in IT application and management.

• Proven experience in implementing and supporting mission-critical systems.

• Strong experience in IT service management, infrastructure management, and vendor/outsourced contractor management.

• Solid project management experience with the ability to manage large-scale system implementation projects.

• Strong understanding of IT security principles and best practices.

• Hands-on experience with DB2 infrastructure administration and support.

• Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

• Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

• Experience in government, border control, immigration, or large-scale public sector projects.

• Experience managing mission-critical infrastructure with high availability requirements.

• Relevant professional certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, ITIL, CISSP, or equivalent would be an advantage.
