Technical Services Supervisor - Textile
- Supervises the day-to-day delivery of high-quality technical services for certain product groups.
- Monitors daily productivity and quality of work and allocates resources as required.
- Supervises technical services projects concurrently and ensures completion within time frames.
- Evaluates products according to requirements of the national/international standards and precedent decisions.
- Makes technical decisions.
- Develops, monitors and reports Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to ensure consistent and high-quality deliverables and overall team performance.
- Manages the performance of the team.
- Manages the performance of direct reports by defining accountabilities, establishing performance objectives, providing feedback and guidance, and ensures that all policies are understood and adhered to.
- Read and follow the Underwriters Laboratories Code of Conduct and follow all physical and digital security practices.
- Performs other duties as directed.
Job Description
- Daily & Weekly post report audit of Key Clients mainly for program information for ensuring report accuracy.
- Biweekly Buyer training: Key client program SOP, Protocol, Special instruction.
- Biweekly Technical training: Compliance & Regulatory.
- Invoice/Dispatch Audit: Monthly Checking.
- Report revision analysis for internal error monthly basis.
- All technical & program communication with GTS and RCTS
- Test Development & lab accreditation process.
- Monitoring client requirements detection limit & work with lab team how to achieve.
- Work with team for process improvement & planning.
- Follow-up correlation test result & CAPA analysis.
- Complain Handle in support of lab Manager & explain customer if need.
- Arrange training for customer of client program & testing process.
- Support Lab Manager, client service manager based on request.
- To perform any other task assigned by Operations Manager.
MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE PREFERRED.
- University Degree (equivalent to a Bachelors degree) from an accredited program in related field, plus six years related work experience.
MINIMUM SKILLS PREFERRED.
- Strong technical understanding of the applicable industry codes, regulations, standards, service/product lines and target markets; demonstrated history of strong technical judgment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English required, proficiency in a secondary/multiple language(s) a plus.
MINIMUM ABILITIES PREFERRED.
- Demonstrated ability to facilitate customer meetings, negotiate and influence outcomes.
- Ability to manage people and/or complex projects.
- Ability to identify and manage priorities as demonstrated by the ability to establish, track and meet schedules for multiple projects while maintaining high quality and exceptional customer service.
- Ability to work virtually, in a multicultural, global environment.
