Contract Systems Engineer / Technical Specialist on a 2-year, large-scale federal government migration program: supporting, troubleshooting and upgrading highly available virtualised infrastructure (VMware, Hyper-V) plus Red Hat OpenShift containers and Microsoft environments. Onsite roles in Adelaide or Melbourne, paid competitive daily rates.

An exciting opportunity is available for Multiple Technical Specialist / Systems Engineer to join a large and complex enterprise technology environment. The successful candidate will bring strong technical expertise across VMware, Red Hat OpenShift and Microsoft Technologies, supporting highly available virtualised and container-based infrastructure.
The successful Technical Specialist / Systems Engineer will be responsible for, but not limited to:
Supporting, maintaining and enhancing complex virtualised infrastructure environments.
Troubleshooting complex infrastructure and platform issues.
Supporting the stability, reliability and performance of enterprise systems.
Working collaboratively with technical teams and key stakeholders to deliver infrastructure solutions.
Contributing to platform upgrades, improvements and ongoing operational activities.
The successful Technical Specialist / Systems Engineer will have experience in the following:
Demonstrated experience as a Technical Specialist, Systems Engineer or Infrastructure Engineer.
Strong hands-on experience with VMware technologies.
Demonstrated experience with Red Hat OpenShift.
Strong experience with Microsoft environments.
Experience supporting complex enterprise infrastructure environments.
Strong technical troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities.
