About the Role

We are looking for a Technical Support Specialist with 1–2 years of hands-on experience in smartphone repair, particularly motherboard-level diagnostics, BGA reballing, motherboard recovery, and baseband reflow techniques.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair smartphone hardware and software issues.
• Perform motherboard-level repairs, including reballing, motherboard recovery, and baseband reflow when technically appropriate.
• Use diagnostic tools, schematics, and boardviews to identify hardware failures.
• Provide technical support to repair technicians and service centers.
• Maintain repair quality standards and technical documentation.
• Identify recurring failures and recommend corrective actions.

Requirements

• 1–2 years of experience in smartphone or consumer electronics repair.
• Practical knowledge of BGA reballing, motherboard recovery, microsoldering, and baseband diagnostics.
• Experience using soldering stations, hot-air rework equipment, and microscopes.
• Understanding of smartphone hardware architecture and board-level troubleshooting.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Intermediate English proficiency.

Education

A technical degree or bachelor's degree in one of the following fields is preferred:

• Electronics Technology / Technical Degree in Electronics
• Electronic Engineering
• Electronic Systems Engineering
• Telecommunications Engineering
• Mechatronics Engineering
• Technical Degree in Electronic Maintenance
• Associate Degree (TSU) in Electronics

Candidates with equivalent hands-on repair training and proven motherboard-level repair experience will also be considered.

Preferred Experience

• Android smartphone repair.
• Experience reading electronic schematics and boardviews.
• Practical experience with BGA rework and component-level diagnostics.
