With AI, Generative AI and emerging technologies becoming increasingly embedded in business operations, organizations need people who can bridge technology, risk, governance and business judgement.

This opportunity sits within a Risk & Quality function, working across business and technology stakeholders to support the responsible adoption of digital and emerging technologies.

What you’ll be doing:

• Lead Technology Risk Assessments (TRAs), from risk identification and control evaluation to practical remediation recommendations.

• Support the development and continuous improvement of technology risk frameworks, policies and controls, with an initial focus on AI governance.

• Assess risks relating to AI, Generative AI, Machine Learning and other emerging technologies.

• Review AI-enabled solutions, considering data handling, transparency, human oversight, security, third-party dependencies and ongoing monitoring.

• Translate responsible AI principles, regulatory expectations and internal policies into practical governance requirements.

• Prepare risk reporting and management insights, while identifying opportunities to streamline and improve risk assessment processes.
  

Who should consider this?

Professionals with at least 5 years of relevant experience in technology risk management, AI governance, IT risk, information security, technology audit, regulatory compliance or enterprise risk management.

You should have a practical understanding of how AI and Generative AI solutions are developed, deployed and used — and the ability to translate complex technology risks into clear, actionable business recommendations.

Strong analytical, communication and stakeholder management skills are essential. Deep engineering or coding expertise is not required. AI governance credentials are an advantage, not a prerequisite.

The ideal candidate? Someone who can engage confidently with technical and business stakeholders, exercise sound risk judgement, and help an organization innovate responsibly without losing sight of governance and control.
