Telco Process Automation Consultant — Telecom Transformation
Dallas, TX (on-site) · Full-time
Must have legal authorization to work in the U.S. and be able to work on-site in Dallas. Applications that don't meet both requirements can't be considered.
About the role
We're looking for a Business Process Automation Consultant to drive intelligent-automation transformation at a leading telecommunications operator. This is a role for someone who has sat on both sides of the table — the consulting firm delivering the transformation, and the tier-1 operator living the operational reality — and knows how to turn deep process diagnostics into automations that actually get adopted and deliver measurable value.
You'll own initiatives end-to-end: from diagnosing where customer and network operations lose time, cost, and quality, through designing the solution, leading change management, and following the impact after go-live.
What you'll do
- Run deep diagnostics of customer and network operational processes to surface inefficiencies and high-value automation opportunities
- Map complex workflows and translate them into detailed, buildable requirements
- Design and lead the technical solution for the client — across both software and AI agents
- Own change management end-to-end so automations are genuinely adopted, not just deployed
- Lead transformation initiatives from concept through implementation and go-live
- Build the business case jointly with the client — cost reduction, time acceleration, quality gains — and track realized impact after deployment
- Act as the bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams
- 5+ years in process automation and transformation, ideally gained at T-Mobile or an equivalent tier-1 operator
- A track record at a top technology and transformation consulting firm (Accenture, Deloitte, PwC, Capgemini, or similar)
- Deep command of telecom operational processes and frameworks: Customer Care, CEM, NOC, and RAN Operations
- Strong impact analysis, process mapping, and technical requirements definition
- Confident communicator across every organizational level, from the ops floor to the C-suite
- A results-oriented mindset anchored in business value
Nice to have
- Experience with governed, hybrid automation architectures that pair agentic reasoning with deterministic, rules-based execution — the approach that delivers production-grade reliability in complex operations
- Software and data engineering background: architecture, technology, design, and technical implementation best practices
- Hands-on with other automation platforms (RPA, iPaaS, workflow engines)
- Certifications in automation, consulting, or digital transformation
- Direct experience with network optimization and RAN automation workflows
- A real opportunity to grow your professional career.
- An international team based in the USA and Spain.
- Flexible working hours and a culture that values work-life balance.
- A collaborative and open team culture where your ideas matter.
- Exposure to cutting-edge technologies and diverse use cases.
- 24 days of paid time off per year.
- Premium Medical Insurance for the employee and family.
- Retirement Plan.
