Telesales Call Center Representative

converting warm, pre-qualified leads into confirmed orders through effective
outbound calling, product presentation, objection handling, follow-up, and
customer engagement. The ideal candidate is a confident, persuasive, and results-driven
communicator who enjoys working with targets, can build rapport quickly with
customers, and is motivated by converting opportunities into sales while
maintaining excellent customer service standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Make
outbound calls to warm, pre-qualified leads and customers who have
previously expressed interest in the company's or clients' products and
services.
- Engage
prospects professionally, establish rapport, identify their needs, and
recommend suitable products or services.
- Clearly
and confidently present product features, benefits, pricing, and relevant
offers.
- Handle
customer questions, concerns, and objections effectively to improve
conversion rates.
- Apply
appropriate upselling and cross-selling techniques where they provide
genuine value to the customer.
- Convert
qualified leads into confirmed and accurately processed orders.
- Verify
customer information, order details, delivery information, and other
required details before completing each order.
- Follow
up with customers at appropriate stages of the sales process to improve
conversion and reduce order cancellations.
- Maintain
professional and positive communication with customers at all times,
protecting the reputation and image of the company and its clients.
- Accurately
record all customer interactions, sales activities, follow-ups, and order
information in the CRM or designated systems.
- Maintain
accurate and up-to-date customer and lead records.
- Meet
assigned daily, weekly, and monthly sales and call-center targets.
- Maintain
required call quality, call volume, conversion, and schedule-adherence
standards.
- Submit
accurate call reports, sales reports, and other performance records as
required.
- Escalate
complex customer issues, complaints, or operational concerns to the
appropriate supervisor or department.
- Participate
in coaching, training, quality-assurance sessions, and performance
reviews.
- Comply
with approved sales scripts, call procedures, company policies,
customer-service standards, and data-protection requirements.
Requirements
- Secondary/high school completion or equivalent; relevant experience may be considered.
- Additional
qualifications in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, Customer
Service, or a related field are an advantage.
- Minimum
of 1 year of relevant experience in telesales, sales, customer
service, call center operations, business development, or a similar
customer-facing role.
- Previous
experience handling outbound sales calls and working with sales targets is
strongly preferred.
- Experience
using CRM or call-center management systems is an advantage.
