About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Tender Manager with strong building main-contractor experience to lead pre-contract tender activities for building and industrial development projects. You will manage tender submissions, commercial and contractual reviews, tender presentations and negotiations, and ensure smooth handover of awarded projects to the project and contracts teams.

Job Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage building tender submissions from tender invitation through award

• Review tender documents, specifications, drawings, BOQ and contractual requirements

• Ensure submissions comply with tender requirements, deadlines and submission formats

• Coordinate preparation of method statements, construction programmes and technical submissions

• Review costing, measurements and subcontractor/supplier quotations

• Identify commercial, contractual and tender risks and recommend appropriate mitigation

• Attend tender interviews, presentations, clarification and negotiation meetings

• Conduct post-tender reviews and lead handover of awarded projects to Project and Contracts teams

• Review post-award documents including LOA, Contract Agreement, BOQ/Schedule of Rates, drawings, specifications and contractual terms

• Identify discrepancies or adverse contractual changes and coordinate resolution with consultants before execution
  

Requirements:

• Diploma / Degree in Quantity Surveying, Building, Construction Management or related discipline

• Minimum 8 years' relevant experience in building main-contractor tendering / pre-contract works

• Candidates from A1 building main contractors are highly preferred

• Experience tendering for industrial development / industrial building projects is highly advantageous
