Teradata Engineer Senior
We are looking for a Data Engineer with strong experience in Teradata and ETL tools to join a team working on data platforms in a structured and collaborative environment.
About the Role
You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining data pipelines and data processing solutions, ensuring data quality, performance, and reliability.
You will work closely with technical and functional teams, contributing to both technical deliverables and functional documentation, in a context that may involve banking or regulated environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain data processing and ETL workflows
- Work with Teradata and SQL for data extraction, transformation, and analysis
- Use Ab Initio for data integration processes
- Manage and monitor batch workflows using Control-M
- Work in Unix environments (file systems, scripting, data handling)
- Produce and maintain technical and functional documentation
- Participate in testing, validation, and deployment processes
- Contribute to architecture, security, and data design documentation
Profile & Requirements
- Strong experience with:
- Teradata
- SQL (Teradata)
- Ab Initio
- Control-M
- Unix environments
- Experience with collaborative tools:
- Git, Jira, Confluence, MEGA, Zeenea
- Good understanding of:
- Data processing and ETL concepts
- Data warehousing environments
