Position Overview
The FastenMaster Division manufactures and markets innovative, premium quality wood-to-wood fasteners that are engineered to enable professional contractors to complete building projects safer, faster, and easier. The Territory Manager will manage sales representatives that are assigned to their geographical region and who are responsible for the daily sales operations in the territory. In addition, the Territory Manager is responsible for developing new accounts and expanding business within existing accounts, training sales representatives, developing effective sales strategies, and ensuring that sales quotas are met. This key position must be a strong communicator, manage their time efficiently, possess strong organizational skills, and above all, be an enthusiastic team player.
Position Responsibilities
- Promote Safety as the Number One priority of all OMG employees.
- Train, motivate, and guide sales representatives within the assigned territory.
- Research and design successful sales strategies tailored to the assigned territory, increasing sales.
- Analyze sales and marketing data to determine the most effective sales and marketing techniques.
- Motivate sales representatives to achieve sales quotas while regularly evaluating their performance.
- Monitor competitors’ sales activity within an assigned territory.
- Meet with current and prospective customers about OMG products and services.
- Perform other tasks as assigned.
