Lead a QA team building Playwright/Selenium automation frameworks in Java/Python and integrate them into CI/CD, while driving AI-enabled testing (script generation, self-healing, intelligent test data).
Job Summary
We are seeking a Test Automation Lead with 8–12 years of experience in Quality Engineering and Automation Testing. The ideal
candidate will have strong expertise in Playwright, Selenium, Java, and
Python, along with hands-on experience in AI-enabled automation. The
role involves leading automation framework development, mentoring team members,
and driving AI adoption to improve test efficiency and quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation
frameworks using Playwright and Selenium.
- Develop automation scripts using Java and Python.
- Lead automation initiatives and mentor a team of
automation engineers.
- Integrate automation suites with Azure
DevOps/Jenkins CI/CD pipelines.
- Implement AI-enabled automation capabilities such as
script generation, self-healing, intelligent test data generation, and
failure analysis.
- Collaborate with development, business, and QA teams in
Agile environments.
- Conduct code reviews and ensure automation best
practices.
Required Skills
- 8–12 years of QA/Automation experience with 3+ years
in a Lead role.
- Strong hands-on experience in Playwright, Selenium
WebDriver, Java, and Python.
- Experience with TestNG/PyTest, API automation
(REST Assured/Postman), Git, Maven, and SQL.
- Hands-on experience with AI-assisted testing tools such
as GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT/OpenAI, Microsoft Copilot, Cursor AI, Claude,
or similar.
- Experience building reusable automation frameworks and
integrating with CI/CD pipelines.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder
management skills.
Nice to Have
- Experience with Appium, accessibility testing,
performance testing, BrowserStack/Perfecto, and cloud-based test
automation platforms.
- Exposure to Agentic AI and modern Quality Engineering
practices.
