Position Overview
Edgesource is seeking a mid-level Test Engineer to support the development, execution, and evaluation of testing activities across software and hardware environments. The Test Engineer will develop test programs and scenarios designed to evaluate system functionality, performance, database impacts, and potential risks.
The position will also support regression testing, technical documentation, program performance monitoring, and the development of automated testing capabilities.
Job Duties
Develop and execute test programs supporting software and hardware systems.
Develop test scenarios based on system and program requirements.
Evaluate potential database impacts associated with system and software changes.
Conduct regression testing to identify issues introduced by system modifications.
Support risk management assessments associated with testing activities.
Support software and hardware development through testing and evaluation.
Develop and maintain test plans, procedures, results, and other technical documentation.
Monitor program and system performance during testing activities.
Analyze test results and document findings.
Identify defects, risks, and performance issues discovered during testing.
Design and develop automated testing tools to improve test execution and repeatability.
Coordinate testing activities with technical and program stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
Active TS/SCI with polygraph
5+ years of relevant testing or engineering experience.
Experience developing and executing software or system test programs.
Experience with software testing scenarios and regression testing.
Experience evaluating system or database impacts.
Experience supporting risk assessments and technical documentation.
Experience designing or developing automated testing tools.
Ability to analyze and document test results and system performance.
