Summary
The Tester will develop and execute test plans, perform various types of testing including functional and API testing, and manage defects to ensure software quality within the SDLC.
- Develop, execute, and maintain test cases, test scenarios, and test plans.
- Perform functional, integration, regression, system, and user acceptance testing.
- Identify, document, track, and verify defects using defect management tools.
- Work closely with developers, business analysts, and project stakeholders to understand requirements and validate deliverables.
- Conduct API testing, database validation, and cross-browser/device testing.
- Ensure software releases meet quality standards before deployment.
- Participate in requirement reviews to identify testability issues and quality risks.
- Support automation testing initiatives and contribute to test script development.
- Prepare test reports and provide quality metrics to stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with SDLC and quality assurance processes.
