Location: Singapore (Project Sites)

About the Role:

Navsar Global is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Testing & Commissioning (T&C) Engineer to join our team for high-profile Electrification Projects. In this role, you will take full ownership of the testing and commissioning workflow, ensuring that all activities align with defined standards, customer requirements, and rigorous EHS (Environment, Health, and Safety) protocols. You will be a key coordinator on-site, bridging the gap between technical execution and project scheduling to ensure successful system delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Coordination: Collaborate with internal departments, clients, and subcontractors to arrange site activities. Attend Works Train Notice (WTN) and track access meetings (SDAR/TAR) to ensure testing is executed on schedule.

Commissioning Leadership: Lead activities throughout the commissioning lifecycle, including Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), PRE-SAT, Site Acceptance Testing (SAT), and System Integration Testing (SIT) through to final handover.

Documentation & Planning: Prepare Method Statements, Risk Assessments, and step-by-step work plans. Review and update technical drawings, specifications, and test reports.

Site Supervision: Supervise installation teams for SKD RT A&A activities and provide hands-on support for high-voltage and secondary voltage testing.

Progress Monitoring: Develop and maintain platforms to monitor weekly project progress, providing critical feedback to project planners and management.

Functional Safety: Ensure all activities comply with functional safety standards (IEC 61508) and maintain a high level of safety significance in the operation of Traction Power Systems.

Operational Flexibility: Manage ad-hoc duties and demonstrate a willingness to work extended hours, including night shifts (engineering hours) and public holidays as project requirements dictate.

Qualifications & Technical Competencies:

Education: Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Electrical, Electronic, or Mechanical Engineering.

Experience: Minimum of 3 years of working experience in Electrification projects, ideally within a railway or large-scale infrastructure environment.

Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of High, Medium, and Low Voltage systems and Traction Power Systems. Hands-on experience with PLC systems (Siemens, Mitsubishi, etc.) and knowledge of ETTS/TSSS systems is preferred.

Safety & Compliance: Familiarity with IEC 61508 functional safety standards and a proactive approach to ethical business acumen and labor law compliance.

Communication: Proficiency in Global Business English with the ability to present facts clearly and interact effectively with international stakeholders.

Tools: Proficiency in using high-voltage test equipment and digital collaboration tools for virtual communication.
