  • Achieve assigned business transient, diplomatic, and wholesale room night, revenue, and sales activity goals for each hotel.
  • Manage and grow an established portfolio of local and national corporate accounts, plus diplomatic and wholesale relationships specific to the DC market.
  • Identify and develop new corporate, diplomatic, and wholesale accounts through proactive outside sales calls, embassy and office visits, networking, industry events, and referrals — with a strong, consistent presence in the market.
  • Build and maintain relationships with embassies, diplomatic missions, chanceries, and international organizations to capture diplomatic travel, delegation stays, and related business for both hotels.
  • Manage consortia, wholesale, and tour operator partnerships, including rate agreements, contracting, production tracking, and account growth within assigned wholesale channels.
  • Increase share from existing accounts by identifying additional travelers, departments, and opportunities within each organization.
  • Identify competitive accounts and develop strategies to shift business to the Melrose and Churchill.
  • Manage the annual corporate negotiated rate and RFP process in partnership with the Directors of Sales & Marketing and Area Revenue Manager.
  • Monitor account production, ADR, and performance against negotiated expectations and hotel goals.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with travel managers, TMCs, corporate travel agencies, and other key business travel partners, with support from Remington's national sales organization.
  • Conduct client appointments, presentations, site inspections, and entertainment — both on property and in the field.
  • Maintain an active prospect pipeline and accurate account activity within the hotels' sales systems.
  • Participate in sales blitzes, industry events, and local business travel, diplomatic, and wholesale organizations.
  • Understand the positioning and business needs of both hotels and identify opportunities to generate business for one or both properties.
  • Pay: $ 85,000.00 Annual Salary (USD)
