Therapy Manager - Inpatient Rehab Unit

1) To direct, manage, and coordinate the Therapy department's daily inpatient and/or outpatient operations related to the provision of therapy services and provide clinical direction to therapists, technicians and students. 2) To promote, facilitate and lead program development initiatives. 3) To serve as a mentor to clinical staff; plan, evaluate, organize, design and implement treatment techniques and programs in a developmentally and age appropriate manner for patients ages 0 – adulthood within the scope of demonstrated clinical competencies. 4) To work closely with the Assistant Director/Director to develop programs/projects that improve the way therapy services are delivered at Texas Children's Hospital. 5) To effectively coordinate daily operations to maximize patient flow, internal and external customer expectations and patient satisfaction. 6) To provide effective leadership and support of the various systems and administrative operation sections of the TCH Therapy Departments. 7) To ensure appropriate and adequate staffing through effective recruiting, interviewing, candidate selection and ongoing performance management.
