Third Party Program Management / Vendor and Outsourcing
Summary
Director oversees third-party risk management for Japan, ensuring compliance with global frameworks and local regulations while coordinating with business and control partners.
- Serve as the primary Third Party Program Management (TPPM) contact for Japan, supporting local businesses and corporate functions.
- Partner with stakeholders across the Firm to manage third-party relationships throughout their lifecycle, from onboarding through ongoing oversight and offboarding.
- Provide guidance on governance, outsourcing requirements, and third-party management practices.
- Support regulatory reviews, audits, and examinations related to third-party and outsourcing activities in Japan.
- Drive issue resolution and remediation efforts by coordinating with business, risk, compliance, and legal partners.
- Prepare management reporting, support governance forums, and help maintain third-party inventories and oversight processes.
- Promote awareness and best practices across Japan-based stakeholders through training and engagement activities.
- Fluent Japanese and business level English communication skills.
- Experience in third-party management, vendor management, outsourcing oversight, program management, operational risk, procurement governance, or a related field.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to work effectively across diverse functions including business units, risk, compliance, and legal teams.
- Experience supporting regulatory reviews, audits, and issue management.
- Ability to work independently and represent the function with senior stakeholders and regulators.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate across a global organization.
