Tillie's Line Cook

Primary Job Duties:

1. Demonstrate and promote the Camp Lucy culture, always positively representing the company and its values.
2. Work collaboratively within the team to cultivate a positive work environment where everyone contributes to culinary excellence.
3. Follow recipes and execute dishes to Tillie’s standards, ensuring consistency in taste and presentation.
4. Execute food production and plating according to stated specifications and timing to meet service demands.
5. Maintain a clean, clutter-free, and organized station at all times, adhering to health and safety standards.
6. Set up and stock food items and other necessary supplies needed for service.
7. Prepare food items by cutting, chopping, mixing, and preparing sauces, ensuring all ingredients are handled properly.
8. Cook food items using various methods, including grilling, frying, sautéing, and baking, according to specified recipes and standards.
9. Maintain cleanliness and comply with food sanitation requirements by properly handling food and ensuring correct storage practices.
10. Clean and sanitize cooking surfaces, equipment, and utensils at the end of the shift to maintain a safe kitchen environment.
11. Perform inventory checks and complete food storage logs to ensure accurate stock levels and freshness of ingredients.

• Previous experience as a line cook or in a similar role within a restaurant or culinary setting.
• Strong knowledge of various cooking techniques and cuisines.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks effectively.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with a positive attitude.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of food quality and safety.
• Culinary degree or equivalent experience is preferred.
