Job Purpose
In your role as a Tire Technician you will work closely with the mechanics and other maintenance staff to ensure a vehicles are road ready in a timely and safe manner.
Duties and Responsibilities
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Inspect, diagnose, and repair tire issues on various waste management vehicle
- Performs preventative maintenance on vehicles to enable minimal downtime
- Perform tire rotations, alignments, and balancing as needed
- Monitor tire pressure and tread depth regularly to ensure optimal performance
- Executes work orders and turns into Maintenance Supervisor for company records
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines while performing tasks
- Collaborate with other maintenance staff to ensure vehicle readiness
- Other tasks as assigned
