equipment in their modern fabrication and fit-out facility based in
Pinjarra.

recent growth in their business, they are seeking to employ a full-time Trade
Assistant to join the team in their Pinjarra engineering facility.
The
Position…
The
Fabrication facility is focused on fabricating truck bodies and mineral
processing equipment. This hands-on trades assistant role will be responsible
for assisting tradespersons in performing various tasks/duties in order to
ensure effective, efficient and accurate operations.
Responsibilities
of the role include, but are not limited to:
- Complete
in an accurate and timely manner all assigned tasks within the workshop in
accordance with relevant safety guidelines/standards, specifications, drawings
and company procedures.
- Assisting
mechanical trades, including fitters and boilermakers, in performing various
tasks as required.
- Ensure
all materials including tools and equipment are available and on hand as
required to complete the given tasks / projects.
- Carry
out workshop cleaning duties as required.
The normal
business hours of operation are as follows: 6am to 5pm Monday to Thursday; 6am
to 3pm Friday to Saturday.
Your hours
of work would include:
- Normal
hours - 10.5 hours Monday to Thursday
- Normal
hours - 6 hours Friday
- Over
time when required
The
Ideal Candidate…
The ideal candidate will have the following:
- Experience in an engineering facility or workshop would be highly
advantageous
- Drivers license
- National police clearance (or willing to obtain)
- Strong commitment to safety and quality
- Motivated, hard-working and positive attitude
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a team
- Forklift ticket
