Trading and Pricing Manager

Discussion

About the Role

We are looking for a sharp, analytically minded Trading & Pricing Manager to help build our pricing capabilities and roadmap. Whilst the role will initially focus on WAYA, our own B2C platform, we see pricing as an opportunity for our successful B2B business as well, where we work with airlines, OTAs and others globally.

This is a new, highly visible, and impactful role, sitting at the intersection of commercial strategy, data analysis, and product performance.

Key Responsibilities

Trading Analysis

  • Monitor and analyse all trading activity across WAYA on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
  • Identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities in booking volumes, conversion rates, route performance, and customer behaviour.
  • Investigate underperforming routes or segments and surface actionable recommendations.

Pricing & Fee Management

  • Actively manage pricing across routes, channels, markets, and booking flows to optimise revenue and margin — making timely pricing decisions based on data signals.
  • Continual monitoring and analysis of the impact of pricing changes on conversion, revenue, margin, and competitiveness. This includes owning the design and execution of pricing experiments which will continually optimise and improve our pricing capability.
  • Conduct regular benchmarking against market conditions and competitor offerings.
  • Model pricing scenarios to forecast the revenue, volume and margin impact of proposed changes.
  • Understand and stay ahead of industry and competitor pricing trends.
  • Shape and drive our pricing strategy and roadmap, working alongside data, engineering and product teams.

Insights & Reporting

  • Produce clear, concise reports and presentations for internal stakeholders and leadership.
  • Translate complex data into actionable business recommendations.
  • Contribute to quarterly and annual planning through trading forecasts and pricing analysis.

What We're Looking For

Required

  • 2-4 years of experience in a commercial analytics, pricing, revenue management, or trading analysis/management role.
  • Understanding of travel industry pricing trends, best practices and pricing tools
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Comfortable working with large datasets and drawing meaningful conclusions.
  • Solid understanding of pricing principles and commercial metrics (conversion, margin, elasticity).
  • Experience and knowledge of AI

Nice to Have

  • Experience of airline and/or OTA pricing
  • Familiarity with self-transfer, virtual interlining, or ancillary fee models.
  • Experience with Python or R for data analysis.
  • Experience of working in a matrix organisational environment

Here are some of the advantages of working at Dohop

  • Flexibility in when and where you work
  • Competitive salary
  • Regular social events and hackathons
  • Annual remote trips — the whole company travels and works together from a new location for a week or two
  • Home internet and mobile
  • Flexible holidays — you decide when and how long
  • A dog-friendly office (with a different dog to pet every day of the week)

Here's what we look for in people

  • You're fun, brave, and not afraid to make mistakes
  • You're open and welcoming
  • You value diversity and treat everyone with respect regardless of their background
  • You're driven and hard-working, and you pursue your goals at work and in life
  • You're solution-oriented and not afraid to ask difficult questions - where others see challenges, you see opportunities
  • You're open-minded, you know your own limitations, and you’re willing to try new things

If that sounds like you, apply now! Someone from our team will review your application and get back to you as soon as possible.
