Traffic Management Specialist

About the Position: Serves as a Traffic Management Specialist in the SDDC Command Operations and Integration Center (COIC).

Monitor critical operations worldwide, delivering reliable and comprehensive data to support the deployment and redeployment of combat assets.

Monitor and track movements using multiple computer-based systems. (i.e., Single Mobility System (SMS), Marine Traffic, and In-transit Visibility (ITV).

Assist the Battle Captain in support of the Chief, SDDC Command Operation and Integration Center (COIC).

Ensure all data received effecting daily operations is provided to the Battle Captain.

Communicate in real time with United States Transportation Command (USTRANSCOM), major Army commands and combatant commands as well as transportation brigades, battalions, and detachments.

Recommend courses of action to the Battle Captain or subordinate brigades, and other appropriate staff elements during emergencies, contingencies, and operations.
