Trainee Engineer (Marine)

Role Summary

We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Trainee Engineers to join our engine department onboard. This role is ideal for candidates who have completed their DG-approved Pre-Sea Marine Engineering training and are eager to gain practical experience in the operation, maintenance, and safe management of ship machinery under the guidance of senior engineering officers.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist engineering officers with the operation and maintenance of ship machinery.
  
• Learn and participate in engine room watchkeeping procedures.
  
• Maintain accurate training records and logbooks.
  
• Support inventory control and spare parts management.
  
• Participate in emergency drills and safety training.
  
• Follow company policies, maritime regulations, and onboard safety procedures.
  

Requirements

• DG-approved Pre-Sea Marine Engineering qualification.
  
• Basic technical knowledge of marine machinery and engine room operations.
  
• Strong willingness to learn and develop technical skills.
  
• Disciplined, responsible, and able to work effectively in a team.
  
• Good communication skills in English and Hindi.
