Trainee Planner

Job responsibilities:

  • Undergo trainings to be able to perform planning activities.
  • Assist in development of Level 4 Critical Path Schedule for projects.
  • Assist in identifying the delays and evaluating the consequences to the schedule.
  • Liaise with various disciplines and prepare weekly and monthly reports for review by management before issuance to client.
  • Assist in preparing ‘S’ Curves, Manpower Histograms, and run-down curves.
  • Assist in schedule updates and preparation of look ahead schedules.
  • Assist in preparing / incorporating schedule for variations.
  • Follow up with project team to ensure that activities are completed on time.
  • Support Project Manager, Planning Manager, and other project team with reports for analysis and decision-making.
  • Attend periodic project meetings that take place in the office or at site.
  • Any other ad hoc planning activities to support the projects / tenders.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or master's degree in engineering

Other Skills:

  • Fluency in English and ability to prepare reports / analysis
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of official data and documents
  • Ability to prioritize and switch tasks in a busy and demanding environment with minimal supervision.
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and complexity
  • Ability to work with people from diverse cultural backgrounds
  • Ability to quickly adapt to new IT tools
