Trainer Customer Operations Specialist

Job Summary

This position supports the delivery of training programs that help new hires develop the skills, knowledge, and behaviors needed to succeed in customer service roles supporting the Wealth Management department for a tier 1 investment bank. Working under the guidance of the Lead Trainer, this role facilitates training sessions, provides learner support, tracks performance, and helps ensure a positive and engaging learning experience.

Responsibilities

  • Training Delivery: Facilitate instructor-led training sessions using established training materials and curriculum.
  • Learner Support: Answer questions, provide clarification on training content, and support learners throughout the onboarding process.
  • Coaching and Feedback: Provide ongoing coaching and constructive feedback to new hires to help improve performance and confidence.
  • Progress Tracking: Monitor learner attendance, participation, assessment results, and overall progress throughout training.
  • Training Administration: Assist with training logistics, including scheduling, class preparation, reporting, and maintaining training records.
  • Collaboration: Partner with the Lead Trainer, supervisors, and subject matter experts to ensure training content remains accurate and effective.
  • Continuous Improvement: Provide feedback on training materials and identify opportunities to improve the learner experience.

Eligibility Requirements

  • Associate's degree, Bachelor's degree, or equivalent professional experience
  • 1-3 years of customer service, training, coaching, or related experience
  • Experience facilitating group discussions, presentations, or coaching sessions preferred
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
  • Ability to learn and explain complex concepts in a clear and engaging manner
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and virtual training platforms
  • Financial services experience preferred but not required
