Training and Curriculum Designer

Summary

Designs adult-focused training curricula and learning materials for rural communities, using participatory methods and instructional design best practices.

Purpose of the role

The candidate for this role will be responsible for designing competency-based training programmes and learning materials that enhance knowledge transfer, support adult learning, and improve programme effectiveness through innovative instructional design.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design competency-based training curricula and learning materials.

  • Develop facilitator guides, participant manuals, and visual learning resources.

  • Adapt learning materials to meet the needs of adult learners in rural communities.

  • Support Training of Trainers (ToT) programmes and capacity-building initiatives.

  • Review and continuously improve training content based on participant feedback.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Education, Adult Education, Instructional Design, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 5 years' experience designing adult learning programmes and training curricula.

  • Strong understanding of participatory learning methodologies.

  • Experience developing instructional materials and facilitation resources.

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and content development skills.
