Aspirante is seeking an experienced Cutover Manager for a 12-month contract supporting a major Human Capital Management System (HCMS) transformation within Queensland Government.
The program will replace legacy HR and payroll technology with a modern solution using SAP SuccessFactors and Class Cover, streamlining systems and improving workforce processes.
You will coordinate the transition into production, bringing together technical delivery, environments, data migration, testing, business readiness and operational support teams.

You will coordinate the transition into production, bringing together technical delivery, environments, data migration, testing, business readiness and operational support teams.
Your responsibilities
- Develop and own the integrated cutover strategy, deployment plan and schedule, including milestones, dependencies and critical-path activities.
- Coordinate environment planning, refresh cycles, access requirements and deployment readiness.
- Establish cutover governance, readiness assessments and production entry criteria.
- Coordinate data migration and validation activities with relevant delivery teams.
- Plan and manage cutover rehearsals, ensuring findings are addressed before production deployment.
- Lead go-live execution and command-centre forums, providing clear reporting, escalation and timely issue resolution.
- Coordinate communications, training and business readiness dependencies.
- Manage the transition into hypercare and business-as-usual support.
You bring demonstrated experience leading cutover and deployment for large, complex technology transformation programs, ideally involving HCMS, HRIS or payroll systems.
You will also offer:
- Strong experience in integrated planning, enterprise environment management and production readiness.
- The ability to manage risks, issues and dependencies across multiple teams and suppliers.
- Experience coordinating technical and business stakeholders through critical implementation periods.
- Clear communication, sound judgement and a practical approach to resolving delivery issues.
- Experience with SAP SuccessFactors, integrations, reporting platforms and legacy systems will be highly regarded.
- Relevant project, release or service management certifications are desirable.
- Government or other regulated industry experience will be well regarded.
