Transition Project Manager (f/m/x)

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead and coordinate production transfers between international sites, focusing on the aerospace or automotive sectors. In this high-impact role, you will drive post-transfer Product Industrialization through to full-rate production, collaborating with engineering, production, supply chain, and quality teams to ensure seamless transitions and successful industrial launches. Your tasks
Leading end-to-end planning and execution of production transfers across international entities
Developing and managing project plans, timelines, and budgets to align with organizational goals
Coordinating with global teams to ensure process readiness, tooling, work instructions, capacity planning, and regulatory compliance
Identifying, assessing, and mitigating project risks while developing contingency plans to ensure smooth transitions and ramp-up
Ensuring all quality, regulatory, and certification requirements are met
Reporting project progress to senior leadership and stakeholders, highlighting risks, delays, and countermeasures
Applying appropriate project management methodologies such as Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid
Utilizing project management tools and techniques like Planisware, Jira, WBS, Gantt charts, and Earned Value Management (EVM)
Requirements
Minimum 5 years of project management experience in aerospace or automotive manufacturing, operations, or New Products Industrialization (NPI)
Proven experience leading successful international production transfers and/or new product launches in a regulated industry
Strong communication and leadership skills
Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools, including JIRA
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Management, Aerospace, or a related field
Excellent organizational skills and experience managing cross-functional and international teams
Advanced level of Polish and English
Working from the office in Niepołomice 5 days per week
Nice-to-have requirements
PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent project management certification
Lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or industrial engineering background
Experience working with aerospace OEMs or Tier 1 suppliers
Familiarity with EASA/FAA certification and production approval processes
