Transport & Warehousing Systems Support Specialist

NewBe an early applicant

Are you a technically sharp IT support professional looking for a role where your skills make a real operational difference? PFM Logistics is growing fast and we need a sharp, self-motivated systems support specialist to keep our national operations running smoothly.

About Us

PFM Logistics is a leading national logistics company specialising in the delivery, storage, and installation of sensitive freight. Our clients span industries including Print, Medical, Refrigeration, and ATMs. With a rapidly expanding footprint, we're investing in the people and systems that will take us to the next level.

The Role

This is a broad, autonomous role sitting at the intersection of IT support and logistics operations. You'll be the go-to person for resolving system issues, supporting our internal teams, and ensuring our Transport Management System (TMS) and Warehouse Management System (WMS) run without a hitch.

Your day-to-day will include:

• Triaging and resolving Level 1 & 2 support tickets via phone and email — fast and accurately

• Managing and escalating tickets to our MSP and external vendors to ensure national service delivery

• Configuring, monitoring, and troubleshooting EDI files (XML, CSV, JSON)

• Data entry and record management across our TMS and WMS platforms

• Testing and reporting on system updates and new feature releases

• Supporting mobile app deployment on phones and warehouse scanners, linked to cloud applications

• Documenting solutions, procedures, and processes to build a strong internal knowledge base

What We're Looking For

• Diploma or Degree in IT, Computer Science, or Business Systems

• 1-2 years' experience in a Service Desk or Help Desk role (L1/L2 support)

• Hands-on experience with service desk tools such as ServiceNow, Jira, or Freshdesk

• Strong communication skills — you'll work with both technical teams and non-technical staff

• Comfortable working autonomously and managing competing priorities in a busy environment

• A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with a genuine passion for delivering quality IT support

• Full working rights in Australia

Desirable (but not essential)

• Experience with Logistics (TMS) or Warehouse (WMS) applications

• Sound working knowledge of Microsoft 365, Teams, and SharePoint

• Familiarity with JAIX is a definite advantage

If you're a self-starter who thrives on solving problems and keeping systems running, we'd love to hear from you.
