Transportation Project Engineer
Summary
Designs and manages transportation infrastructure projects for state and local agencies, preparing drawings and ensuring regulatory compliance using AutoCAD Civil 3D and MicroStation OpenRoads.

Your Responsibilities as a Transportation Engineer:
- Prepare Engineering drawings, specifications, and contract documents
- Coordinate with clients and regulatory agencies for permitting compliance
- Prepare budgets and schedules for projects
- Support clients with services during bidding, contracting, and construction
- Develop and manage project scopes, schedules, and budgets
- Provide technical guidance and quality control
What we're looking for:
- B.S. in Civil Engineering (or related field)
- Professional Engineer (PE) registration in Idaho (or ability to obtain within 6 months)
- 3+ years of Civil Engineering experience
- Experience in designing transportation facilities for State transportation departments & local jurisdictions
- Experience with ITD’s procedures and requirements
- Experience in AutoCAD Civil 3D, MicroStation OpenRoads, and Geopak design software
