Transporter - Medical Transport - Per Diem
- Schedule: Per Diem Flexible Schedule
- Shifts: 7:00 AM–3:00 PM or 11:00 AM–7:00 PM
- Rotation: Includes weekends and holidays
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Recommended maintains CPR or BCLS, and First Aid.
- Must have current valid driver’s license.
- Must be 21 years of age as per PA PUC requirement.
- Ability to read, write, and understand oral communication.
- Keeps neat/legible written records.
- Follows universal precautions and utilizes proper body mechanics. Is able to make timely decisions.
- Must be able to operate communication radios in all vans.
- Accurately performs all paperwork and documentation.
- Identifies patient by asking patient to state name and date of birth prior to any treatment.
- Keeps familiar with equipment.
- Notifies proper authorities when applicable.
- Performs safe operation of vehicles and knows how to properly operate the lifts in the vans.
- Accurately secures wheelchairs in vans.
- Accurately secures stretchers in vans.
- Accurately secures safety belts on patients.
- Keeps familiar in the proper lifting, securing, and moving techniques of stretchers.
- Is able to perform CPR and basic first aid and to recognize an emergency situation.
- Vehicle transport.
