Traveling Construction Superintendent, Infrastructure Manager

Location: Remote, Nationwide

Travel: Extensive nationwide travel is required, with projects typically lasting several weeks at a time. Travel expenses are covered in accordance with company policy, including lodging and approved business expenses.


An established and rapidly expanding infrastructure contractor is seeking a Traveling Construction Superintendent, Infrastructure Manager to oversee specialized construction projects at secure facilities across the United States. This is an opportunity to take ownership of challenging field operations while leading subcontractors, maintaining quality standards, and delivering projects that support some of the nation's most important infrastructure.


What You Will Do

  • Coordinate daily field operations for construction projects from mobilization through completion.
  • Lead subcontractors and field personnel while maintaining project schedules, productivity, and workmanship.
  • Review construction drawings, specifications, and project documentation to ensure successful execution.
  • Inspect completed work and identify corrective actions necessary to maintain quality standards.
  • Support project planning, scheduling, and coordination with project management teams.
  • Receive, inspect, and organize incoming materials and equipment deliveries.
  • Maintain accurate daily reports, field documentation, and project progress updates.
  • Promote a safe, organized, and productive jobsite while enforcing company safety expectations.
  • Coordinate with inspectors, testing agencies, customers, and project stakeholders throughout construction activities.
  • Assist with project closeout documentation and turnover requirements.


What You Bring

  • Minimum 5 years of experience with excavation, reinforced concrete placement, and/or industrial fencing installation.
  • Minimum 3 years as a Construction Superintendent, Foreman, Quality Control Manager, or similar supervisory role.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
  • Experience supervising subcontractors and managing construction schedules.
  • Knowledge of quality control and construction safety practices.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities in the field.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
  • Ability to pass background check and drug screening for military installation access.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting government, industrial, mission critical, transportation, utility, or secure infrastructure projects.
  • Familiarity with heavy equipment operations and underground utility installation.
  • Experience implementing quality management processes and construction documentation.
  • OSHA training or other construction safety certifications are a plus.
