As a Treasury Specialist you will be responsible for:
- Liquidity & Cash Management: Oversee daily and monthly global cash flow, short-term forecasting, liquidity monitoring, and bank balance reconciliations to support strategic decision-making.
- Payment Operations & Control: Execute and manage assigned operational payments with strict adherence to authorization workflows, internal controls, and international banking regulations.
- Merchant Settlement Execution: Monitor banking cut-off times, validate supporting evidence, and confirm high-precision execution of merchant settlements across global banking platforms.
- Variable & Exposure Analysis: Track and analyze key treasury variables—including cash balances, FX exposure, funding needs, and settlement cycles—to mitigate operational risk.
- Financial Closing & Reporting: Prepare cash position reports, settlement analysis, and audit-ready documentation for monthly closing processes.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner directly with Finance, Accounting, Payments, and Compliance teams to align local and regional treasury workflows with broader global strategy.
- Process Automation: Drive continuous improvement by implementing automated workflows and scalable processes within treasury operations.
Requirements
- Experience: 3–5 years of progressive experience in corporate treasury, financial analysis, or payment operations.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Financial & Analytical Mastery: Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling to analyze diverse scenarios and build precise liquidity forecasts.
- Treasury Systems Knowledge: Hands-on experience navigating Treasury Management Systems (TMS) and electronic banking platforms to manage liquidity and automate workflows.
- Languages: Advanced-Intermediate to Fluent English communication skills (written and verbal) for seamless global collaboration.
Nice to Have
- Experience in high-growth Fintech, Merchant Acquiring, or Cross-Border Payments industries.
- Familiarity with LATAM regional settlement rails, multi-currency payouts, and FX hedging strategies.
