Treatment Counselor+Treatment Coordinator+Patient Care Coordinator

The Treatment Counselor is the champion of patient satisfaction in the office. Treatment counselors will ensure that patients receive a great experience and understand the treatment diagnosed by the dentist. They will also be financial and insurance benefit coordinator experts to obtain treatment acceptance from our patients.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Exceed patient expectations in customer service
• Achieve sales and collection goals
• Greet, communicate and keep patients informed about their visit
• Obtain high treatment acceptance by explaining cost of treatment, insurance coverage and financial alternatives.
• Solicit referrals from patients
• Ensure highly productive days by managing patient scheduling
• Patient retention

Requirements:

• 1-3 years dental treatment coordinating (indemnity/PPO/HMO)
• 1-3 years customer service or sales experience
• Knowledge of Dental Billing
• Equivalent of HS Diploma or GED
• Working Knowledge of Microsoft suite
• Self-motivated and ambitious sales attitude
• Excellent communication skills
• Outgoing and friendly personality
