About the role
This is a hands-on senior development role with a strong front-end focus. You’ll be building scalable, accessible and well-engineered web applications using modern JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks and development practices.
You’ll work across the full front-end development lifecycle, from architecture and component design through to API integration, automated testing, CI/CD and code quality.
There is also potential for the role to extend into backend/platform development, so broader Java and Azure capability would be valuable.
About you
We’re looking for candidates with strong experience across:
- TypeScript and modern JavaScript development
- React ideally, although Angular, Vue.js or Svelte experience will also be considered
- Modern front-end architecture, design patterns and framework best practices
- GitHub Actions and GitHub workflows
- Code quality tooling such as CodeQL and SonarQube
- Unit and integration testing using Vitest, Jest and/or Playwright
- Build tooling including Vite, Webpack and monorepos
- Tailwind CSS, CSS/SASS and BEM
- Web accessibility standards and accessibility testing
- API integration and consumption
- Java backend development
- Azure cloud services
- API design and development
- SQL
