UAT Tester - Contract (Banking Project)

Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive User Acceptance Testing (UAT) following standardized, rigorous workflows.

• Prepare detailed test plans based on business/technical requirements and generate accurate test data for respective testing cycles.

• Execute test cases, thoroughly document test results, log problems, and diligently follow up on issues until complete resolution.

• Deliver comprehensive test reports, provide release recommendations, and support post-implementation system maintenance.

• Review existing testing workflows, suggest practical improvements, and source/evaluate potential test automation tools.

• Prepare clear training materials and conduct user training sessions ahead of system rollouts.

Requirements & Qualifications

• 2 to 5 years of hands-on experience in software testing or equivalent quality assurance roles within a financial institution (FSI) or banking environment.

• Degree holder in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related discipline.

• Strong ability to review, interpret, and bridge both business and technical documentation.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to coordinate effectively across technical and business teams.

• Prior experience working with or sourcing test automation tools is a distinct advantage.

• Fluency in Cantonese, Mandarin and English.
