About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled UAT Tester with strong Payment’s domain expertise to join a leading Investment Bank in Glasgow. This role is critical to ensuring the quality and success of the Market Expansion programme in Payments by delivering thorough end-to-end User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for new enhancements and business-as-usual releases.


Key Responsibilities

· Define and manage UAT scope and plans for all releases

· Collaborate with stakeholders across Products, Operations, Technology, and Vendor teams

· Design comprehensive test scenarios covering functional, integration, and regression testing

· Support automation adoption and maintenance of test scripts

· Execute UAT cycles and validate end-to-end business processes

· Identify, log, and manage defects through to resolution

· Own UAT governance, reporting, and adherence to testing standards

Strong knowledge in at least one of the following:

· Payments Domain: ISO 20022 messaging, cross-border and domestic payments, FX/non-FX processing, payment lifecycle and reconciliation

· Liquidity Domain: Cash management, sweeps, liquidity optimization, core banking integration

Preferred Skills

· Familiarity with testing tools and governance frameworks

· Basic technical understanding of system architecture, APIs, logs, and backend validation

· Strong analytical, debugging, and stakeholder management skills

· Ability to work effectively in complex, multi-vendor, and release-driven environments
