UI/UX Designer
Summary
Lead end-to-end UI/UX design for a cruise line website and mobile app using Figma, ensuring seamless multi-device user journeys.
JOB OVERVIEW
Plan A Technologies is looking for a talented UI/UX Designer to lead the end-to-end design of our digital ecosystem, spanning a guest-facing cruise line website and a companion mobile application.
You will build upon existing web concept designs in Figma, extending them into complete, production-ready web and mobile user journeys. If you have a passion for travel, a strong eye for guest-facing digital experiences, and the ability to seamlessly connect multi-device interfaces, we would love to meet you.
Please note: you must have at least 5+ years as a UI/UX Designer, and a portfolio showcasing relevant work is required to be considered for this role.
JOB RESPONSIBILITY
End-to-End Design: Design holistic user journeys across both web and mobile app interfaces, taking ideas from early concept to final developer handoff.
Build on Figma Concepts: Evolve and scale existing web concepts into comprehensive UI components, design systems, and responsive layouts.
Mobile & Web Synergy: Bridge the gap between desktop booking experiences and on-the-go guest mobile applications, ensuring consistency across touchpoints.
Refine Guest Flows: Map out friction-free guest journeys, covering everything from pre-cruise exploration and booking to on-board guest interactions.
Detail & Usability: Craft intuitive wireframes, micro-interactions, loading/error states, and polished visual UI that elevate the overall brand experience.
EXPERIENCE
5+ years of professional UI/UX design experience across responsive web and native mobile applications (iOS and Android).
Advanced expertise in Figma (auto-layout, design systems, component libraries, and interactive prototyping).
Proven background designing guest-facing interfaces in hospitality, travel, cruise, or experience-driven industries.
Strong understanding of mobile UI patterns (Apple Human Interface & Material Design) and web accessibility/usability standards.
Ability to take existing conceptual models, spot missing user flows, and independently turn them into complete, elegant designs.
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and analytical abilities.
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
Initiative and drive to do great things.
