Role Scope & Purpose

The UI/UX Developer bridges the disciplines of design and engineering, responsible for both crafting intuitive user experiences and implementing them in code. This role combines user research, interaction design, and front-end development to deliver products that are both beautiful and functional. The UI/UX Developer collaborates closely with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to ensure that design decisions are grounded in user needs and executed to a high technical standard.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design intuitive user interfaces and user experiences for web and/or mobile applications using tools like Figma or Sketch.
  • Conduct user research, usability testing, and gather feedback to inform design decisions.
  • Develop wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups for new features and workflows.
  • Implement UI designs in code using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript/TypeScript with a modern front-end framework.
  • Build and maintain a component library or design system ensuring visual consistency across products.
  • Collaborate with engineers to ensure designs are technically feasible and implemented accurately.
  • Define and enforce design standards, guidelines, and accessibility best practices (WCAG).
  • Iterate on designs based on user feedback, A/B test results, and analytics.
  • Advocate for the end user's perspective throughout the product development process.
  • Participate in sprint planning, design reviews, and cross-functional product discussions
