UI/UX Engineer

Job Summary

We're looking for a creative and technically-minded UI/UX Designer to craft compelling interfaces across web and mobile, working closely with cross-functional teams including frontend engineers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Visual Design: Design visually compelling interfaces for web and mobile platforms, including marketing materials such as banners, logos, campaign visuals, and landing pages.

  • Design Systems / Consistency: Ensure design consistency across all products by collaborating closely with cross-functional teams from concept to final release. Develop and maintain component libraries to ensure visual consistency.

  • UI/UX Principles: Create modern, intuitive user interactions by applying best-practice UI/UX principles to new and existing products, continuously optimising layouts and flows.

  • Prototyping: Develop wireframes, user flows, mockups, and interactive prototypes using advanced-level Figma skills.

  • AI-Powered Tools: Utilise AI-powered design tools, design assistants, prompt-based generators, and automation tools to enhance workflow speed and efficiency.

  • Responsive Design: Design and prototype responsive websites, landing pages, and web applications with strong attention to UX and visual craft.

  • Business Translation: Translate business goals and user needs into clear, logical, and visually appealing UI solutions.

  • User Research: Conduct user research and gather feedback, iterating designs based on user behaviour, data insights, and usability testing.

  • Team Support: Support design team operations, assist supervisors with workflow planning, and maintain brand identity and design standards across all outputs.

  • Frontend Collaboration: Work alongside frontend engineers with a solid understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for translating designs into developer-ready specs and communicating feasibility within technical constraints.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

  • 8+ years of relevant experience in software engineering, enterprise environment, AI and automation with at least 3 years in leadership.

  • Proven success in deploying AI/automation solutions with measurable ROI.

  • Strong knowledge of automation tools (e.g. UiPath, Automation Anywhere), ML frameworks, AI tools and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).

  • Experience in enterprise AI adoption, governance, and vendor partnerships.

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
