Responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end automation tasks: development, support, and enhancement: Lead the full lifecycle of automation processes from requirement gathering to deployment and post-deployment support. This includes developing UiPath workflows, managing updates or improvements, and ensuring business continuity during bot execution.
- Handle L2/L3 level tickets independently: Triage and resolve complex issues in production automation environments. Analyze failure patterns, apply bug fixes or hotfixes, and escalate to L4 or development teams only when absolutely necessary, demonstrating autonomy in operations.
- Prepare SDD/PDD documentation and conduct peer reviews: Create and maintain detailed Solution Design Documents (SDD) and Process Design Documents (PDD) ensuring clarity, version control, and audit-readiness. Review automation designs from peers and provide constructive feedback to uphold quality standards.
- Mentor junior engineers and guide shift activities: Serve as a go-to technical mentor for newer team members. Offer hands-on support, conduct knowledge transfer sessions, and oversee shift deliverables to ensure continuity and learning across shifts.
- Implement process improvements and automation suggestions: Analyze existing support processes or workflows and propose optimization through automation or tool improvements. Collaborate with stakeholders to assess feasibility and implement change efficiently.
Must-Have Skills:
- 4-7 years of experience in UiPath development and support.
- Strong UiPath development experience: Proven ability to build, debug, and optimize UiPath workflows, including reusable components, state machines, and exception handling frameworks.
- Hands-on with Document Understanding, Power BI reporting: Experience using UiPath Document Understanding to extract and process structured and unstructured data from invoices, emails, or scanned documents. Ability to design dashboards or reports in Power BI for tracking automation health and metrics.
- Exposure to integration via APIs: Knowledge of REST and SOAP API integrations within UiPath using HTTP Request or custom libraries. Experience working with external systems such as CRMs, ERPs, or file repositories via API.
- Good incident, change, and problem management skills: Familiarity with ITIL processes and the ability to log, track, and resolve incidents. Manage changes with minimal impact, and perform root cause analysis to address recurring problems.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in deploying and managing attended/unattended bots in Orchestrator.
- Familiarity with Agile development methods, including sprint planning and daily stand-ups.
- Knowledge of scripting languages (Python, PowerShell) to enhance automation tasks.
- Capability to work across multiple domains (IT Ops, Finance, HR) using automation.
