UK-based Senior Scala Backend Engineer - API & OpenSearch

QAD Inc. is hiring a Backend Engineer in the UK to develop and maintain the Redzone API backend (Scala) and the MCP server for AI integrations. You’ll improve OpenSearch usage and deliver capable, testable code for frontline manufacturing teams.

You will work with Scala and Java, leverage modern tooling, and contribute to a responsive, scalable backend in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. UK-based, full-time role.
