Unarmed School Security Officer

We are seeking a dependable and professional Unarmed Security Guard to join our team. This position focuses on ensuring the safety and security of students, staff, and visitors during school hours, with an emphasis on traffic control, bus duty, and general campus monitoring. A security officer must be well-trained in surveillance and dealing with perpetrators. The ideal candidate will inspire respect and authority as well as possess a high level of observation. The goal is to help the company in maintaining excellent working conditions by keeping our facilities safe and problem-free.

Responsibilities:

• Traffic Control:

  • Direct and manage vehicular and pedestrian traffic during school arrival and dismissal times

  • Assist parents, students, and staff in crossing areas safely

  • Ensure traffic rules and school safety protocols are followed

• School Guard Duties:

  • Patrol school grounds to ensure a safe and secure environment

  • Monitor entrances and exits to prevent unauthorized access

  • Serve as a visible and approachable presence for students and staff

  • Respond to incidents and report suspicious activity to school administration

• Bus Duty:

  • Monitor and supervise student loading and unloading during bus arrivals and departures

  • Ensure students follow safety procedures and maintain order at the bus loop

  • Work collaboratively with bus drivers and school staff

Skills

• Proven experience as security officer or guard
• Knowledge of legal guidelines for area security and public safety
• Familiarity with report writing
• Excellent surveillance and observation skills
• Registered as a security officer
• High School diploma is required

Experience:

• Security: 5 years (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Sora Card (Preferred)
